For kids spending the holiday in the hospital, that can be hard to miss.Staff at Wellstar MCG Health and Wellstar Golisano Children’s Hospital of Georgia are making sure their young patients don’t miss out. Team members dressed up, decorated booths and lined the hallways so children can trick-or-treat through the hospital instead of the neighborhood. The annual event turns the children’s hospital into a kid-friendly Halloween route, giving patients a chance to leave their rooms, show off costumes and collect candy and small toys.Trick-or-treating at the hospital began at 10 a.m.
